I am working at the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, University of Essex, UK as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor). Earlier, I worked as a Senior Research Fellow at School of Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton, UK, from September 2016 to August 2017 and as a Research Fellow at Department of Coputer Science, Univeristy of York, UK, from September 2014 to August 2016 and at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS), from February 2012 to August 2014.
I obtained my Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, India, in 2006. Thereafter, I worked with HCL Technologies, India for year and half. I joined Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2008 and worked at Centre for High Performance Embedded Systems (CHiPES), School of Computer Engineering, NTU, Singapore as a PhD scholar towards the completion of my PhD till January 2012.
My main research activies include design and optimization of multi/many-core based systems for performance, energy, temperature, reliability and security for various application domains, e.g. multimedia, automotive, healthcare and cloud. I have published over 90 papers in the above areas in leading international journals/conferences. My works have got several recognitions, e.g. the most popular article of IEEE Access 2020, IEEE TC February 2018 Featured Paper Award, ICCES 2017 Best Paper Award, ISORC 2016 Best Paper Award, PDP 2015 Best Paper Award, HiPEAC Paper Award, and GLSVLSI 2014 Best Paper Candidate. I am serving on the TPC of IEEE/ACM conferences like DAC, DATE, CASES, CODES+ISSS and VLSID.
Occasionally, there are opportunities with funded projects for PhDs/RAs/RFs.
